As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in defining Rithum’s AI and data strategy. We’re looking for a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and a strong collaborative spirit who can translate complex data into impactful business solutions.

In this pivotal position, you will lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable machine learning models, guiding the delivery of innovative AI products that directly align with our vision. You’ll work cross-functionally, leveraging AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to solve complex challenges, drive data-driven decision-making, and advance product innovation across the organization.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

Lead, Innovate, and Mentor

As a Senior AI Engineer at Rithum, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading high-impact AI initiatives independently, ensuring alignment with departmental and company-wide strategic objectives to deliver sustainable, client-focused solutions.
• Leveraging your technical prowess to design scalable, high-performance AI solutions. You’ll build reliable, reusable systems and mentor colleagues, setting high standards and reducing complexity.
• Tackling complex and ambiguous problems with advanced judgment and strategic thinking, developing solutions that are robust and adaptable to current and future organizational needs.
• Collaborating effectively across diverse teams, tailoring communication to align AI initiatives with business goals and cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster innovation and quality.
• Influencing decision-making at departmental and company levels, driving AI project priorities and execution that shape Rithum’s strategic roadmap and impact global teams.
• Ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable solutions that meet business demands and fuel future growth. You’ll help set standards, principles, and roadmaps for durable, sustainable systems organization-wide.
• Applying your deep AI and ML expertise to create high-impact solutions, influence cross-disciplinary methods, and develop frameworks for both immediate and long-term success. Serve as a recognized expert, promoting knowledge-sharing and advancing Rithum’s AI capabilities.
• Mentoring and developing other engineers, sharing your specialized knowledge and helping them grow their skills.
• Participating in an on-call rotation, embodying our “you build it, you own it” ethos.
• Expertly utilizing modern software development tools, including version control, building processes, debuggers, and test frameworks.

Tech Stack: Technologies You’ll Work With

A Dynamic Environment for Innovation

You’ll operate within a diverse and evolving technical landscape. Our core technologies include:

• Primary Technologies: C#, .NET Core, Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/React, Angular, JavaScript, Github, Azure, SOAP/REST web service APIs.
• Secondary Technologies: AWS services (including OpenSearch, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, RDS, ECS, and others), Redis, NoSQL databases, Microsoft SQL Server, various Cloud technologies, and CI/CD tools/pipelines.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications

Skills and Experience to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience developing in Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
• 3+ years of experience with core AI technologies (such as PyTorch or TensorFlow). This should include a strong technical and strategic focus, covering expertise in machine learning algorithms, NLP, computer vision, and large-scale AI deployment.
• Proven leadership in high-impact AI projects, with a history of mentoring team members and developing innovative methods that drive departmental objectives.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, along with experience in creating data systems for feature stores and vector databases.
• Strong communication skills, adept at visualizing and presenting complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
• Experienced collaborator with cross-functional teams, working closely with product managers, engineers, and business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics), with proven expertise across ML-related disciplines and an ability to influence team practices and standards.
• Experience developing in C#.
• Familiarity with data privacy compliance, ensuring all data handling and analysis adhere to regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance policies.
• Experience within industries such as eCommerce, Retail, online marketplaces, or digital advertising.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
