About the Opportunity

As a Senior Solutions Architect at Artisan Studios, you will play a pivotal role in shaping pre-sales solutions for our prospective and current clients. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to design and architect innovative and impactful solutions that meet our clients’ unique business challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions leveraging the full suite of AWS services.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop compelling technical strategies for client engagements.
• Craft and deliver impactful technical presentations to influence customer stakeholders and secure buy-in.
• Proactively evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on our client solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of proposed solutions.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the following technologies and concepts:

• Extensive experience with AWS services, including: Amazon EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and ECS.
• Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Amazon CloudWatch for comprehensive monitoring and observability.
• A solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
• A strong understanding of Generative AI technology and solutions.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and associated methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of network architectures and security best practices.
• Proven ability to develop rapid prototypes and/or proof of concept(s).

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales technical roles within professional services.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent visual presentation skills.
• Strong ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Additional AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty).
• Knowledge of full-stack development technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with UX/UI and associated design methodologies.
• Experience working within the AWS partner ecosystem.
• Experience with two or more industry verticals.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Go (Golang).
