The Opportunity: Solar Service Project Coordinator
As a Solar Service Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the Palmetto platform, ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the entire lifespan of their solar system. You will be responsible for handling post-installation service requests, coordinating with our network of trusted partners, and resolving technical issues, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. This role is critical to our mission of providing long-term support and maximizing the value of clean energy for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently triage and troubleshoot service requests, accurately assessing the scope of work needed.
- Schedule appointments with our trusted Build Partners or internal Field Service Technicians, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination.
- Prepare accurate quotes and manage invoices from service partners, controlling project costs effectively.
- Proactively communicate with customers, providing updates on project status and managing expectations.
- Maintain exceptional customer service levels, exceeding Palmetto’s standards and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Effectively manage queues, reports, and cases within our CRM platforms, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient resolution.
- Serve as an interdepartmental liaison, collaborating with sales, survey, engineering, supply chain, and regional management teams to resolve conflicts and improve efficiencies.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with Build Partners and internal resources.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to projects as a subject matter expert.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support, tech support, or sales support.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in enterprise software such as G Suite, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry is a plus.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
