Senior ServiceNow Developer: Architecting Digital Transformation
Are you a highly skilled and strategic ServiceNow Developer looking to make a significant impact? Citizant is seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in platform development, integration, and digital transformation. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow modules to drive enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Shaping the Future of Service Management
- Business Transformation Strategy: Advise on business process optimization and service management best practices. Shape strategies for large-scale digital transformation initiatives across ServiceNow Core Services, ITSM, and SPM.
- Automation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies by customizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Integration Development: Design and maintain robust integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other cutting-edge technologies. Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable integration architectures.
- Platform Customization and Development: Customize ServiceNow modules, including form configuration, UI design, and data models. Develop workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts using JavaScript and GlideScript.
- Advanced Flow Development: Build and maintain advanced flows using Flow Designer and Automation Engine.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-suite executives, to define requirements, translate business objectives into technical solutions, manage stakeholder expectations, and present progress or risks.
- Leadership: Lead customer-facing sessions, discovery workshops, and status briefings with clarity and confidence.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver user training sessions and supporting materials for both business users and technical teams. Maintain clear technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Qualifications: Your Expertise Matters
We’re looking for someone with:
- 10+ years of experience with ServiceNow implementation, customization, and platform development.
- 5+ years of strong experience with ServiceNow integrations and flow building.
- Expert knowledge of:
- Core Services/SMP (Service Management Platform)
- ITSM & DEVOPS
- JavaScript, GlideScript, and scripting tools within the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience with custom development and digital transformation projects.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both engineering and executive stakeholders.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required. Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
