What You’ll Do

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients’ critical applications. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers, designers, and strategists to solve challenging problems at scale. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leveraging your expertise in Python, Kubernetes, Grafana, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to build and maintain robust and scalable systems.
• Developing and utilizing APIs to simulate real-world workloads and ensure optimal system performance.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in observability and monitoring, utilizing tools like Prometheus/Grafana and Datadog to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress and managing expectations effectively.
• Troubleshooting complex issues to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Proven experience in backend API development.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and its surrounding ecosystem.
• Experience developing and monitoring mission-critical systems using tools such as Prometheus/Grafana and Datadog.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience in a consulting environment.
• Experience with Supply Chain, eCommerce, and retail solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
