This position is based remotely in Mexico, with occasional visits to our Ensenada office for team collaboration.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining data-driven, serverless digital applications. You’ll play a key role in orchestrating data flow between centralized sources and third-party APIs, ensuring our internal stakeholders’ needs are met with efficiency and unparalleled quality. Your Responsibilities:

• Craft new functionality and maintain our existing platform’s code and tests with precision.
• Collaborate closely with client and platform engineers to rapidly prototype and validate exciting new ideas.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure project requirements are flawlessly met, on time, and within specifications.
• Deploy your code within a robust serverless environment, designed for high availability and scalability.
• Leverage a range of AWS services, including Lambda, Redshift, Aurora, Dynamo, and SQS, to architect secure and data-rich backend applications.
• Explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence through AWS Bedrock, enriching existing applications and pioneering new AI-driven workflows.
• Embrace additional duties as required, contributing to the team’s collective success.

What You’ll Bring to the Band:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in crafting digital applications that effectively manage large datasets.
• A language-agnostic approach, with proficiency in Python/Go/TypeScript.
• Deep familiarity with the AWS environment, including hands-on experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• A solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases like Postgres, Dynamo, and Redshift.
• Proven experience collaborating within an engineering team to rapidly develop new functionality, with a genuine desire to support your teammates.
• (Bonus Points!) Familiarity with generative AI tools like Github Copilot, Cursor AI, or Claude.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
