Your Impact & What You’ll Deliver

Reporting to our Technical Team Lead, you’ll join the dedicated Solution Engineering team focused on serving our valued customers across Asia. Based in China, this role involves significant travel to meet and collaborate with partners.

Your mission will be to ensure the seamless integration and successful deployment of Trustonic’s leading security products, including Trustonic Secured Platform™ and Telecom Platform™. You’ll be the technical bridge between our innovative technology and customer success. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert technical support and guidance to commercial teams and direct customers, sharing in-depth product knowledge.
• Spearheading debugging and issue resolution efforts alongside sales and product teams, ensuring customer challenges are rapidly addressed.
• Developing clear technical documentation, training materials, and delivering compelling product demonstrations.
• Managing a responsive triage service for customer queries, effectively prioritizing issues with R&D and Sales.
• Driving the integration of Trustonic TEE products onto various ARM-based SoC platforms and OEM devices.
• Offering critical technical assistance to customers during the validation phase of their product integrations.
• Designing and developing innovative secure applications leveraging Trustonic solutions for diverse use cases.
• Collaborating closely with the Research & Development team to coordinate complex issue resolution.
• Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with our customers.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

You are a driven, results-oriented Software Engineer with a passion for security and a knack for solving complex technical challenges for customers.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 3+ years in software engineering, ideally with direct customer-facing or application engineering experience.
• Proven background in security products, spanning embedded software, cloud services, or HSMs, within a multinational environment.
• In-depth experience with SoC security concepts, including BootROM, bootloaders, TrustZone, TEE, and Android security frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in the C programming language.
• Solid experience in embedded development and debugging, including using hardware debuggers.
• Expertise with ARM technology and System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures.
• Experience with Android OS internals and/or Linux kernel and drivers.
• Knowledge of Cryptography principles and secure policies/practices.
• Methodical testing and validation skills.
• Native or fluent proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.

Highly Valued Knowledge:

• Familiarity with TrustZone and Arm Trusted Firmware.
• Understanding of Hypervisors.
• Experience with Secure Boot implementations.
• Insight into how security relates to communication protocols and end-to-end security principles.

Desirable (Bonus Points):

• Previous experience in embedded software or Linux driver development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven, Jenkins).
• Awareness of PKI and advanced cryptography concepts.
• Extensive experience designing secure systems.
• Experience with Rust (server/cloud or device) or scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Familiarity with major chip vendors (e.g., MediaTek, Samsung, Qualcomm).
• Insight into or experience working with the Automotive industry.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Location & Travel

This role is based in China, serving customers across the Asia region. Significant travel is an expected part of this position.
