The Opportunity: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you’ll be a vital part of our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our external financial reporting. This includes everything from SEC filings to technical accounting assessments and internal audits. You’ll work closely with teams across the company, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, while also helping to tell the story of our financial performance in a clear and compelling way.
What You’ll Do: Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-Ks, Proxy Statements), including detailed footnote disclosures and MD&A sections.
- Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews, providing necessary documentation and addressing requests.
- Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting standards and SEC regulations; draft technical accounting memos and policy determinations.
- Assist in preparing internal reporting packages for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Partner with Legal, Investor Relations, and Accounting to maintain consistency and accuracy in messaging.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls related to financial reporting (SOX compliance).
- Assist with both internal and external audit compliance efforts.
- Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with special projects related to corporate development initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table: Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) and/or public company SEC reporting.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls (SOX).
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Ability to travel 10-15% for team meetings, company conferences, and onboarding events.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Workiva, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, business-friendly language.

The estimated starting annual base salary for this position is $90,000 – $110,000. Compensation decisions depend on various factors, including skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs.
