The Opportunity: Leading Quality in Core Banking

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to take charge of end-to-end testing for our critical Core Banking projects. This pivotal role places a strong emphasis on Temenos T24 implementations within the sophisticated Private Banking domain. You will be instrumental in leading diverse testing streams, including functional, regression, automation, and non-functional testing, ensuring impeccable quality delivery across collaborative, cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in Temenos T24 modules and automation frameworks, coupled with exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities honed in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and empower testing teams responsible for executing comprehensive functional, regression, automation, and non-functional requirements (NFR) testing within large-scale Temenos T24 projects focused on the Private Banking sector.

• Define, develop, and drive the execution of robust test planning, encompassing strategic test design, meticulous data management, precise environment setup, implementation of test automation, rigorous NFR testing, thorough regression testing, efficient defect management, and comprehensive test closure activities.

• Critically review and analyze complex business requirements and system specifications to determine the optimal test approach, scope, and strategy that aligns with project goals.

• Champion seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, Development, Operations) to embed quality upstream and ensure effective end-to-end delivery of solutions.

• Oversee and refine status reporting and defect management processes, providing transparency and efficiency across multiple project streams.

• Proactively identify potential risks and impediments, raise timely issues, and recommend optimal, solution-oriented approaches to stakeholders.

• Operate effectively within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, leveraging tools like JIRA and Confluence for planning, tracking, and collaboration.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in a Test Lead role, specifically within Temenos T24 project contexts, with a strong preference for experience in the Private Banking domain.

• Profound and comprehensive domain knowledge in Private Banking, including key areas such as Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions, Derivatives, Structured Products, Accounting, Pricing, Portfolio Management, Forex, Treasury, and Lending.

• Exceptional expertise in Temenos T24 modules and extensive hands-on experience in testing T24 integration scenarios, executing COB (Close of Business) testing, and performing client output validation.

• Proven experience in SWIFT message testing and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.

• A solid understanding of financial accounting principles across various asset classes.

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and foundational knowledge of DevOps concepts. Practical knowledge or experience with Java for test automation is a distinct advantage.

• Proficiency in utilizing Agile planning tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Highly developed problem-solving skills, characterized by a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
