The Opportunity: Systems/Data Analyst

As a Systems/Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding data flow and ingestion processes that are critical for program operations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define research tasks, resolve data anomalies, and ensure accurate and reliable data ingestion into downstream systems. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to support business functionality, cross-team collaboration, and testing dependencies within a DevSecOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand, document, and analyze data flow and ingestion processes across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and investigate data anomalies, providing clear and actionable insights.
• Work with other Data Analysts and Business Analysts to address cross-team testing dependencies.
• Frame and execute research tasks to support broader business functionality and decision-making.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure that data ingestion aligns with program and system requirements.
• Support Agile project teams by providing accurate and timely data analysis and reporting.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in data analysis and systems/data flow understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong experience analyzing data flows and ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot data anomalies or errors.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to translate data questions into research tasks.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and Agile delivery teams.
• Strong documentation skills to capture processes, data flows, and dependencies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Prior federal government project experience.
• Current holder of Public Trust or higher-level clearance.
• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).
• Experience in cloud or DevSecOps data environments.

Important Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is MANDATORY. You must be a U.S. citizen and reside within the United States. All work must be performed within the U.S. This position requires the ability to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust clearance. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work.
