About the Role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront, supporting and configuring hardware and software for our customer implementations. You will be providing timely and effective technical assistance to our valued customers through phone, email, and our online ticketing system.

This role is also part of our Escalations Team, where you’ll collaborate closely with our Engineering and Development teams to resolve complex issues within our PremierOne Suite and CommandCentral CAD/Mobile/Records suite. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the reliability and performance of these critical systems.

Important Note: This position requires flexibility, including night, weekend, and holiday availability. You’ll also participate in an on-call rotation to address off-hour emergencies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Configure and support hardware and software components in customer environments.
  • Deliver exceptional technical support to customers via phone, email, and web portal.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Development teams as part of the Escalations Team, focusing on PremierOne Suite and CommandCentral CAD/Mobile/Records suite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and third-party components.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Customer Support.
  • 2+ years of experience with Public Safety Applications, specifically CAD applications.
  • Solid technical knowledge of MS SQL Server, MS Windows Server, MS Ops Manager, and Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to represent yourself and the company professionally.
  • Ability to pass stringent background checks, including local and Federal fingerprint submissions.
  • Availability to participate in on-call duties on a rotational basis.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Applications, Servers, and SQL Database Server environments.
  • Basic understanding of network and infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience with Firewalls and routers (F5 and Fortigate preferred).
  • Familiarity with the PremierOne Application Suite is a significant plus.
