The Opportunity: UI/UX Designer (Web Products)
Are you a passionate UI/UX Designer ready to make a tangible impact on global businesses? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive and effective interaction experiences for Veeam’s web-based products and user services. You’ll tackle complex UI design challenges, continuously refining solutions using a blend of user research, data analytics, and insightful feedback.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, ensuring that design decisions align with business objectives and user needs while meticulously adhering to Veeam’s established brand guidelines and design system.
What You’ll Do: Responsibilities
As a UI/UX Designer at Veeam, you will:
- Drive the end-to-end design process for web services and products, from concept to delivery, in close partnership with business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams.
- Conduct user discovery to identify roles and scenarios, translating findings into effective design artifacts including wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Maintain and enhance Veeam’s global design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment across all product interfaces.
- Implement data-informed design strategies, leveraging insights from user research, analytics, usability testing, A/B testing, and direct user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Participate actively in design sprints and cross-functional teams, championing high-quality UI standards and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
- Serve as an advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure all designs meet stringent accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Provide essential support for technical implementation, assisting with basic front-end considerations.
What You’ll Bring: Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Demonstrated expertise with leading design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, and Adobe XD.
- A solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines.
- Proficiency in web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
- Experience analyzing data sources like logs and web statistics to inform and guide design decisions.
- Knowledge of WCAG requirements.
- Familiarity with UX research tools and experience working within Agile or Lean UX methodologies.
- Practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and using data to drive design iteration.
- Basic skills in front-end languages such as HTML and CSS.
- An excellent eye for composition, visual harmony, and attention to detail, complemented by strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Location & Work Arrangement
This position is a remote role, but applicants must be permanently located within the Czech Republic to be considered.
