The Opportunity: Drive Growth in the UK & Ireland

As our Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for leading our commercial efforts in the vital Life Science and Applied Markets. You will spearhead revenue generation, managing sales primarily through our direct sales channel, while also strategically developing our Channel Partner network. This is a key leadership role where you will identify, develop, and secure significant opportunities, driving the entire sales cycle from initial lead validation through to successful product and service delivery. You will work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers and optimizing our supply chain.

Your Impactful Responsibilities Will Include:

Shaping Market Strategy & Driving Growth: Develop and execute innovative go-to-market strategies and initiatives that differentiate our offerings, meet the unmet needs of our customers, and significantly contribute to our annual growth objectives. Leverage deep market insights to identify key trends and competitive advantages.

Building a World-Class Sales Team: Attract, develop, and coach a high-performing sales team. Champion talent development, playing an active role in nurturing diverse talent and enhancing our employer brand. Provide quality career guidance and support the growth of your direct reports and high-potential associates.

Leading Commercial Excellence: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the commercial team. Develop and challenge business capabilities to achieve organizational excellence, optimize sales processes, and enhance overall performance.

Upholding Standards: Model and promote humility, transparency, and strict adherence to company policies and relevant compliance standards, including channel partner guidelines, trade compliance, GDS, anticorruption, and antibribery laws.

What You’ll Bring to Succeed:

We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in commercial leadership within the industrial, Life Science, or adjacent scientific instrument markets. Your experience should demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility in sales, marketing, or service roles.

Key requirements include:

Proven Commercial Acumen: A successful history of leading commercial organizations within technology-driven, solutions-based companies of relevant scale. Strong expertise in Go-to-Market design, implementation, and management is essential.

Strategic & Tactical Expertise: Demonstrated capacity for both high-level strategic thinking and meticulous tactical implementation. You should have a track record of successfully designing and executing sales plans within relevant markets.

Organizational Development: Experience in building and developing effective commercial teams and structures.

Location & Travel

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement within the UK. However, please note that the role requires intensive travel across the UK and Ireland to meet with customers, partners, and the team. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
