Key Responsibilities & Impact
As our VP, Finance & Accounting, you will:
Lead & Partner Strategically:
- Lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated finance team, aligning their efforts directly with our strategic growth objectives.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner and collaborative advisor to business and finance leadership, translating complex financial concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Masterfully balance the financial needs and growth ambitions of the business with the essential fiduciary responsibilities of the organization.
Drive Financial Excellence & Efficiency:
- Oversee and optimize complex financial systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Deliver insightful, data-driven financial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic decisions.
- Evaluate and enhance all facets of the forecasting process to provide robust support for business planning.
- Support and coordinate with the operational finance team to optimize the revenue recognition process.
- Champion finance transformation initiatives and accelerate margin improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Translate operational efficiencies and drivers of growth/profitability into clear, executable actions for the business.
Guide Global Performance:
- Guide business partners in attaining key operational KPIs that impact international business growth, efficiency, and overall margin performance across our global regions (Americas, Europe, Asia).
- Clearly correlate operational outcomes directly into measurable financial impact.
What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications
We are seeking a highly accomplished finance professional with a proven track record of leadership and strategic impact.
Your Background:
- A Bachelorโs Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Equivalent combinations of experience may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
- While not required, an advanced degree (MBA or CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive finance experience, demonstrating a strong analytical, leadership, and business partnering history.
- At least 8 years of dedicated finance management experience, successfully leading and developing teams.
Your Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional ability to listen, interpret, influence, challenge, build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and resolve conflict in a matrix structure.
- Possess crisp presentation and discussion facilitation skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate others, and successfully lead change initiatives across diverse cultures.
- A proven capacity to think strategically (‘big picture’) and leverage expertise to drive organizational success.
- Act as a consultant and trusted business partner to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and current financial and accounting computer applications is essential.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to partner with leadership in identifying and driving top-line revenue opportunities.
- Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
