This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location globally, provided you can align with a CET timezone (roughly 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. CET) for core collaboration times.

The Role: Producer – Drive Excellence in Live Game Operations

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Producer with a strong background in AA or AAA game production. You’ll be an essential pillar in our teams, combining exceptional organizational skills with a passion for live games and their ongoing evolution. Working closely with our Product Leads, you will be instrumental in translating vision into reality, orchestrating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring our live operations run with unparalleled efficiency and smoothness.

Key Responsibilities: Steering Success from Concept to Live

As a Producer at DECA Games, you will be the engine driving execution and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives, fostering team rhythm and productivity.
• Acting as a critical partner to the Product Lead, championing the game’s vision and ensuring its consistent execution across all departments during live operations.
• Empowering teams by improving communication, enhancing organization, and promoting accountability across engineering, design, art, and marketing.
• Continuously refining and optimizing cross-departmental workflows and processes, collaborating with leads to build a more efficient and streamlined operation.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operational health of the game, potentially guiding Associate Producers in this endeavor.
• Proactively identifying potential risks before they impact production, developing and implementing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Providing clear, concise, and timely progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Championing a healthy and collaborative team environment, identifying and helping to resolve interpersonal or process-related challenges.
• Guiding the onboarding and professional development of new Associate Producers, sharing your expertise and leadership.
• Taking ownership of the quality and timeliness of all production tasks, including your own and those managed by direct reports.
• Operating with a high degree of autonomy, making confident decisions with minimal oversight from Senior Production staff.
• Collaborating closely with the Product Lead to align product decisions with the team’s demonstrated capacity and capabilities.

What You’ll Bring: Skills for Success

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Producer specifically within AA or AAA live game production.
• Demonstrated expertise using Jira for task management, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• A deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and crystal-clear communication skills (written and verbal).
• The proactive nature to identify challenges independently and the confidence to make decisive choices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire live game operations cycle, from updates and events to community engagement.
• A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
