About the Role: Delivering Exceptional Virtual Care

As a Virtual Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patient Preparation: Preparing patients for virtual physician visits, ensuring seamless video and audio connectivity, and facilitating interpreter services when needed.
• Clinical Support: Documenting up-to-date medication lists, medical history, and primary complaints, providing essential information to our physicians.
• Administrative Excellence: Scheduling follow-up appointments, confirming upcoming visits, and proactively preparing charts for the next day.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance patient communication, connection, and build strong relationships with Heartbeat Health.
• Process Optimization: Proactively identifying areas for improvement, mitigating risks, and executing policies that prioritize the best possible patient experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST.

About You: The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who embodies the following qualities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
• 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on processes and accuracy
• Fast learner, adaptable to new technologies and procedures
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• Self-driven and enthusiastic about supporting innovative healthcare solutions
• Experience in providing virtual care is a significant plus
