The Opportunity: VP, Data Product Management
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on VP of Data Product Management to lead and scale our core data products. This is a highly visible and impactful role where you will own the strategy for contextual intelligence, AI enablement, and cross-platform optimization. If you have deep experience in data, advertising, and AI product development within a high-growth environment, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer.
What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
Define the Data Product Vision
Lead the north-star strategy for acquiring, classifying, enriching, and productizing content data across diverse taxonomies and signals (GARM/IAB, sentiment, DE&I, sustainability, forecast pricing, etc.). Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales to forge long-term product differentiation.
Drive Product Innovation
Own the roadmap for dashboards, APIs, and outcome-based solutions that transform raw classification data into actionable insights for clients. Continuously enhance product usability and performance for both internal and external users.
Champion Data Quality & Governance
Establish and rigorously monitor key metrics (accuracy, bias, latency, coverage) to measure model health and ensure client satisfaction. Build essential feedback loops with customers and measurement partners, delivering regular reports on data quality and performance benchmarking.
Enable Cross-Platform Growth
Ensure the scalability and robustness of our data platform across key ecosystems including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, CTV, and emerging channels.
Pioneer AI-Powered Solutions
Partner with our Tech teams to provide the essential contextual data elements required for delivering next-generation tools like agent-based media optimization, auto-briefing systems, and GenAI-driven creative recommendations.
Cultivate and Lead a High-Performing Team
Mentor and grow a talented team of product managers, fostering a culture centered on experimentation, ownership, and user-centric design. Serve as a cross-functional leader and advocate for data and AI initiatives across the organization.
Accelerate Revenue Growth
Work hand-in-hand with our Commercial and Marketing teams to package, position, and launch data products that directly drive revenue. Translate model and feature advancements into compelling ROI narratives for customers and internal stakeholders.
Who You Are: Requirements
You are an accomplished leader with:
- 10+ years in product management, with a strong focus on data, AI/ML, or contextual advertising.
- Proven track record leading end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization in a high-growth tech or ad tech environment.
- Deep understanding of major digital advertising platforms (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, DSPs, CTV).
- Familiarity with content classification, taxonomies, AI models, and data APIs.
- Exceptional executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience building, managing, and scaling product teams in fast-paced settings.
- Flexibility to travel for meetings and company events as needed.
