What You’ll Be Doing
As our VP of Public Sector Sales, your core mission will be to lead your team to unprecedented success while championing a culture of customer obsession. Your responsibilities will include:
• Defining and implementing a compelling sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue, renewal rate, pipeline, and key efficiency targets.
• Providing accurate, reliable, and insightful sales forecasts to inform critical business decisions.
• Forging strong, collaborative partnerships with cross-functional leaders (Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) to create integrated solutions and opportunities for our public sector customers.
• Cultivating high-level relationships with C-suite executives and actively supporting your team in navigating and closing large, complex strategic sales cycles.

What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a seasoned leader with a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a passion for the public sector. The ideal candidate will possess:
• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, specifically managing teams selling into the Public Sector.
• Proven success selling SaaS or EdTech solutions directly to government or education entities.
• Exceptional strategic thinking capabilities paired with a data-driven approach to sales strategy development and execution.
• Outstanding people leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, particularly with executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in value-based, solution selling, especially within large, complex enterprise deals.
• Experience developing and executing co-selling strategies and effectively leveraging channel partners.
• A deep commitment to customer obsession and a genuine passion for building and nurturing a strong, positive team culture.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel as required to support team activities, customer engagements, and company events.
