About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a talented and driven Workday Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex Workday projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to successful deployment and ongoing optimisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by shaping the way we use Workday to achieve our business objectives.

This is a fully remote 6-month contract position with potential for extension. We’re particularly interested in candidates located on the West Coast to facilitate collaboration across our teams.

What You’ll Do

• Spearhead the program management lifecycle for Workday implementations and enhancements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders from HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to gather comprehensive requirements and define clear project scope.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and ensuring smooth execution.
• Foster transparent communication across all teams and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing effective contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
• Champion best practices in security, data privacy, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide ongoing post-implementation support and lead optimization initiatives to continuously improve the performance and user experience of our Workday system.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Program or Project Manager, with at least 2 years specifically focused on managing Workday implementations.
• Deep understanding of Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, or related modules, including configuration and integration best practices.
• PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
• Exceptional organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and leadership skills.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with system integrations and Workday reporting tools.
• Experience developing and implementing change management and user adoption strategies.
• Familiarity with large enterprise environments and global rollout methodologies.

Compensation: $70 – $75 USD per hour (Remote)
